Kingsland

The London Borough of Hackney was one of the five Boroughs designated to be hosts to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The Hackney Borough commissioned six local photographers to create an image library of Hackney, covering topics such as the cultural diversity and melting pot of the Borough.

I was designated the Dalston and Haggerston area and decided to focus on Kingsland Road: an arteria that crosses the borough south to north.
